- Why not just read the code?
- Because a code tells you the symptom, not the cause. Replacing parts off the back of a code is how people end up paying twice.
- Do you charge for diagnostics?
- Yes, because it is real work. If you go ahead with the repair we put that toward the bill.
- Can you diagnose an intermittent fault?
- Usually. Those take longer because we may need the car for a day to catch it happening.
